Job: Part Time Research Assistant for the Ecological Traits Project. Singaporean only
Description: The ecological traits project compare plant functional traits among different ecosystems in Singapore. We seek a motivated Singaporean student who could assist with fieldwork in the rainforests and laboratory analysis of plant functional traits. The fieldwork will be conducted at various sites, with a focus on Bukit Timah Nature Reserve and Central Catchment Nature Reserve. Student will assist with leaf collection in the field. Laboratory work will be conducted at the NUS-Yale Laboratory. Student must be comfortable working in the forests.
Duration: The employment period is from now until December 2019.
Time commitment: The student should expect about 12 hours of work time per week during the non-examination period, with a minimum block of 6 hours required in the field, including traveling time. We are able to accommodate flexible days and time where necessary.
